Chapter 1 Substitute Marriage

Silvia Curson sits on the train as it heads from the countryside to H City in the autumn of 2015.
She was left in the country when she was nine years old and was only picked up today for the sole reason that the Curson Family was marrying their daughter off to Windsor Castle.
I heard that the groom in Windsor Castle was terminally ill and the Curson Family had two daughters, neither of whom they wanted to marry, so the Curson Family took her back, who had been in foster care in the country, and asked her to go to the wedding instead.
Silvia was sitting on the berth, a book in her hand, when the door was suddenly thrown open and a cold, chilly breeze came in from outside along with a sweet smell of blood.
Silvia looked up only to see a tall, handsome body fall in from outside.
     Unconscious.
Soon, several men in black rushed in, "Boss, there's no one there now, send him straight to hell."
"Who said no one was there?"
The scarred man at the head of the group looked over at Silvia.
Silvia did not expect the sudden heat of the accident, the man who suddenly fell into her carriage posed a deadly danger to her, the scarred man's eyes were thick with murderous intent and it was clear that he wanted to kill him.
Silvia didn't move to look at the weapons they were holding and quickly begged in panic, "Don't hurt me, I didn't see anything."
The scarred man stepped forward and looked at Silvia's small face. She wore a veil that prevented her from seeing her true face, but her bent pupils dripped out.
Those silken pupils were incomparably bright, and they swayed and swayed as they looked and looked.
The scarred man had never seen such a pair of beautiful, eye-catching eyes before, and was instantly taken in, plus he hadn't touched a woman these days, and immediately had evil thoughts.
"Little beauty, we can leave you unharmed, but you must serve the brothers well."
Silvia's long, slender eyes fluttered and she said with pity, "I don't want to die, I'm so scared, I will serve you well if you don't hurt me."
The girl's soft, warm begging made the scarred man unable to resist any longer, and he pounced on Silvia and pinned her down.
"Boss, you go first and we'll send this one on his way and then have some fun for the brothers."
In the midst of the vulgar laughter and warm, soft woman country that filled the room, the scarred man lowered his weapon and reached for Silvia's coat buttons.
But the next second, a small, slender white hand came up to grip it.
The scarred man looked up and at once met the girl's clear, bright bent pupils, which now receded from panic and weakness and shone with a cold, broken light.
     "You!"
The scarred man tried to speak, but Silvia raised her hand and with unparalleled sharpness stabbed a silver needle in her hand into the scarred man's head.
The scarred man's eyes closed and he simply fainted to the ground.
     "Boss!"
A few of the men in black were startled and tried to step forward, but then the man who had fallen to the ground abruptly opened his eyes and reached out and grabbed the weapon from the man in black.
One by one, the men in black all fell to the ground.
     It was simply swift.
Silvia sat up, she had known for a long time that the man was pretending to be unconscious and that the blood on him was someone else's.
Silvia looked up at the man, who was also looking at her. He had extremely deep, narrow eyes, as sharp as falcons, with two small abysses at the bottom of them, which would suck anyone down if they looked at him.
     "Prince, we are late."
Help arrived and began the orderly aftermath as the henchmen handed a clean hanky to the men.
The man wiped his hands with graceful movements, then came to Silvia with a steady stride, his bony fingers cupping her tiny jaw.
He narrowed his narrow eyes and looked at her playfully, his voice low and magnetic, "What do you think I'll do to you?"
Silvia was forced to look up at him as her jaw was cupped by his calloused fingers. The man was long, tall and handsome, his aura as powerful and cold as the night.
He had just wiped his hands, but she could still smell the fishy sweetness and the cold hostility.
It's hard to get back in one piece when you've seen something you shouldn't.
This man is, quite literally, dangerous.
     Snap!
Silvia smacked the man's hand away and said with a straight face, "Don't be ridiculous, I'm the bride to be married into Windsor Castle!"
A bride to be married into Windsor Castle?
The man raised a sword brow, a bit interesting, his... bride?
"You're from H City? Then you should know that the daughter of the Curson Family is marrying into Windsor Castle, a wedding that is blowing up the city, and I'm the bride, so if anything happens to me, do you think you'll run into bigger trouble? Let me go, I didn't see anything and I won't say anything!"
Silvia now really has her stepmother Hollis Dilley to thank for picking her up and taking her back to H City on a cheap train, but the wedding was an extravagant and sensational affair to gain her good name.
The Curson Family's daughter marrying into Windsor Castle is the biggest gossip in H City, and Silvia is betting that the man doesn't want to get into trouble.
The man looks at her with interest; today he was bought and killed by a business rival and meeting this girl was an accident.
Look at her as a girl of no more than 20, and although her face is white and her clothes are dishevelled, her clear, intelligent eyes shine with a radiant light.
The key, still, is his bride.
The man withdrew his gaze and led the way.
Silvia's fingertips, which were tugging tightly, slowly loosened.
At that moment the man in front of her sulked back, he looked at her and said slowly, in a language she could understand on his lips, "We will meet soon."
     ...
Ligong Estate, where the Curson Family's wedding took place today.
In the bridal lounge, Daryl Curson looked at his half-sister Silvia, "Silvia, you died at the age of nine when your own mother died, then you pushed your grandfather down the stairs with your own hands, even the witch's said you were a demon, so you were sent to the country by your father, this time if you hadn't been asked to come back and get married, you would have been stuck in the country for the rest of your life. So know your place, you are not a princess of the Curson Family, but a dog of the Curson Family!"
Silvia sat at her dresser and said blandly, "Who are you barking at, you dog?"
Daryl crossed his arms, "The dog is calling you!"
Silvia hooked her lips, "I know, so you don't have to scream anymore."
Daryl realised that he had been trapped by Silvia. She looked at her bright pupils, she had been wearing a veil since her return, but her eyes showed a pair of eyes that made her look like a stunningly beautiful woman.
Daryl was so jealous that he wanted to gouge Silvia's pupils out of her eyes, how could this country girl be a beauty?
"Silvia, the auspicious hour has arrived and it's time to go!" At that moment Grimme Curson, Hollis, came in with a group of distinguished guests.
